About the Position
We are looking for a handson Ecommerce Coordinator to join our Shanghai this role you will help drive growth and operational excellence across leading ecommerce platforms (TMALL JD Douyin RED) working closely with crossfunctional teams and external partners. You will play a key part in executing channel strategies optimizing performance and supporting our activities in Chinas dynamic digital landscape. This is a full-time office-based position with regular travel to Weihai.
Tasks
- Channel planning & coordination: Cocreate and update store business plans per channel; monitor KPIs (GMV ROI conversion retention) and drive corrective actions.
- Marketplace operations (TMALL/JD): Manage listings/merchandising promo calendars (e.g. 11.11/618) pricing stock coordination and customer experience; liaise with TP partners/platform contacts.
- Social & live commerce (Douyin/RED): Coordinate content calendars creator/KOL briefs livestream scripts and metrics and postlive optimization with anchors/agency partners.
- Paid performance alignment: Partner with the paid media team/agency on alwayson and peak campaigns; track and improve CAC/ROI and attribution across channels.
- Continuous operations improvement: Identify bottlenecks (delivery times conversion customer satisfaction) and coordinate fixes with Shanghai/Weihai teams and logistics.
- External collaboration & BD support: Maintain productive relationships with platforms and agencies; support business development meetings and proposals with realistic forecasts and channel strategies; represent the company at relevant events when needed.
- Reporting & governance: Build clear weekly/monthly reports on KPIs insights and next actions.
Requirements
- 25 years of handson experience in China ecommerce/marketplaces ideally covering TMALL/JD and Douyin/RED.
- Experience coordinating across Operations Paid Advertising Customer Service and LiveStreaming teams.
- Strong analytical skills and spreadsheet proficiency (GMV ROI conversion promo performance).
- Communication skills to work crossfunctionally and with external platforms/agencies in Shanghai.
- Languages:Native/Fluent Chinese and professional English required; Spanish is a plus.
- A proactive resultsdriven mindset with a bias for execution and ownership.
