Job Description
- Establish process conditions through decoupled molding for new products.
- Troubleshoot molding processes and material or equipment issues.
- Evaluate tooling for areas of concern areas of improvement for quality and efficiency and recommend improvements to optimize molding setup and overall manufacturing.
- Collect and analyze data on individual processes to identify and improve process capability.
- Document and maintain mold process sheets for accuracy.
- Support process technicians through training in scientific molding practices.
- Leadership role in continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
- Use Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other techniques to analyze process data to determine capabilities as well as improvements.
- Program robots and peripheral equipment.
- Additional items as needed to ensure smooth operation of the plant.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of hands-on experience in injection molding.
- A working knowledge and experience with injection molding and ancillary equipment
- A working knowledge of a wide range of thermoplastic materials and their properties
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Experience in mentoring and developing associate members of the molding process development team.
