Data Collection: Unit Information: (insert name) Location: Address: 7101 SPID Corpus Christi TX 78412 Floor: 2 East/2 West- postpartum Building: Bay Area Medical Center General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 26 (both units combined) Number of Staff 32 nursing staff Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 charge 3-4 nurses 1 unit secretary 1 nurse s aide o Night Shift - 1 charge 3-4 nurses 1 nurse s aide Patient Ratios 6:1 Type of equipment - EMR Meditech/CPN Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Good working knowledge of postpartum unit Good communication skills Good organizational skills Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. IV start skills Foley catheter placement List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Discharges and admissions Vitals signs medication administration hourly rounds on patients Education to patients Best personality Fit: Flexible Able to adapt to fast-paced unit REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: CPR NRP ACLS Floating Area(s): Postpartum/surgical Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Royal blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
