About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use):
12We are launching our AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to accelerate responsible and impactful AI adoption across the organization. As our firstAI Strategy Lead you will play a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise AI strategy identifying high-value opportunities and guiding execution to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will act as an expert who facilitates knowledge sharing and collaboration among different teams ensuring that best practices and lessons learned are disseminated throughout the organization working with Departmental AI Champions.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a track record of leading new initiatives championing innovation and driving cross-functional alignment. Prior CoE experience is not requiredwhat matters most is your ability to connect business goals with emerging technologies and lead change.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and evolve the organizations AI strategy in alignment with business priorities.
Define the vision guiding principles and success metrics for enterprise-wide AI adoption.
Offer business-oriented consultation helping teams understand how AI can be applied to solve specific business challenges and achieve desired outcomes.
Serve as a thought leader and internal advocate for responsible AI innovation.
Opportunity Identification & Roadmaps
Collaborate with department-level AI Champions to identify and assess high-impact use cases.
Build and maintain a dynamic AI roadmap that balances quick wins with long-term transformation.
Stay informed on industry trends competitive benchmarks and emerging technologies.
Initiative Prioritization & Execution
Facilitate prioritization of AI initiatives based on business value feasibility and risk.
Lead or support execution of strategic AI projects ensuring alignment with governance and ethical standards.
Partner with Data IT and Product teams to ensure scalable and secure implementation.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of AI initiatives and assess their impact on business outcomes.
Use data-driven insights to iterate on strategy and improve outcomes.
Communicate progress and impact to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience leading strategic initiatives digital transformation or innovation programs.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate emerging technologies into business value.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Familiarity with AI concepts including prompt engineering data-driven decision-making and change management.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in strategy consulting product innovation or enterprise transformation.
Experience working in cross-functional environments and influencing without authority.
Understanding of data governance risk management and ethical AI principles.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $120456 to $207939. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
In addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
