Job Description
As an Estimator for our Solar Innovations brand you will help bring customers visions to life by creating detailed pricing proposals and drawings. We will provide hands-on training and mentorship so you can grow your technical expertise in AutoCAD and estimating while collaborating with internal and external teams. As part of our Solar Innovations team youll gain experience that will grow your career while becoming a go-to product expert for our customers and Sales Team.
Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule reporting to Pine Grove PA facility Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays. This is not a remote position.
Salary: $44000 - $55000 bonus & full benefits package
What you will be doing:
- Create detailed proposals estimates and CAD drawings that bring custom structures doors and window projects to life
- Achieve daily and weekly quoting goals that keep projects on track and ensure customers receive timely solutions
- Partner with the Sales Team to support customers and contribute to Solar Innovations overall sales goals
- Review and prepare commercial bids by analyzing project requirements completing take-offs and providing accurate estimates for Spec Projects generated from construction lead websites
- Collaborate closely with internal Engineers Drafters and Project Managers to gather project details and deliver accurate quotes on time
- Guide and support Sales Representatives when additional information is needed for quote documentation
- Manage quote timelines by meeting expected due dates and balancing accuracy with efficiency
- Communicate with outside vendors and suppliers to request information or supplier pricing in a timely manner
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications: (required)
- Strong basic math skills (addition subtraction division fractions measurements)
- Ability to work within deadlines and manage shifting priorities
- Clear communication skills with both teammates and customers
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Excel Word Outlook)
Nice to Have: (bonus points)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Coursework or degree in Drafting Architectural Design Interior Design Construction Sales or similar fields
- Experience interpreting blueprints or specifications
- Background in construction glazing or architectural design
Additional Information :
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $44000 USD - $55000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
