Job Description
Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking full-time qualified board certified/board eligible Neurologist in Oceanside!
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is an integrated health care system providing exceptional medical care to local and global communities. Encompassing the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and eight hospital campuses in the New York metropolitan area as well as a large regional ambulatory footprint Mount Sinai is internationally acclaimed for its excellence in research patient care and education across a range of specialties. Mount Sinai South Nassau is one of the eight hospitals that is part of the Mount Sinai Health System and is located in Oceanside Long Island.
The Division of Neurology is currently comprised of eight faculty Neurologists who work to achieve the hospitals Joint Commissions gold seal of approval for disease-specific care for primary stroke AHA Gold Plus Stroke Center and partial thrombectomy capable interventional services in the setting of a very active neurosurgical service state of the art neurological imaging studies and epilepsy platform and a full-service tertiary care hospital. We are in the process of building a full comprehensive thrombectomy capable Stroke Center and Neurology Service and are looking to recruit full-time faculty to expand the Divisions services.

Responsibilities
- Employed full time position based at Mount Sinai South Nassau
- Inpatient neurology consultative services
- Call coverage for stroke
- Competitive compensation and benefits package

- Clinical Support staff: Nurses and medical assistants
- EMR system: Allscripts/ Athena/ Epic
- Teaching and or research opportunities available
Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Graduate from an accredited ACGME Neurology Residency Program
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
- Experienced neurologists and new graduates are welcome to apply
- Additional fellowship training in Vascular Neurology EEG or other areas is welcome but not required to apply for this position

Compensation range from 300K to 320K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience specialties historical productivity historical collections and hospital/community need. As such an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range and in certain circumstances may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
