Job Description
Job title : Engine Mechanic I
Client : Aerospace Industry
Duration : 06 months
Location : San Diego CA 92121
Shift : 2nd Shift - 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Description:
- This entry-level role supports the disassembly inspection repair and assembly of aero-derivative gas turbine engines. You will work under the guidance of senior mechanics or subject-matter experts gaining hands-on training and technical experience in aerospace manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) to learn turbine engine maintenance procedures
- Assist in disassembling and assembling aero-derivative engines
- Review technical documents tools and visual aids before and during operations
- Perform basic inspection and support manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Health Safety and Quality procedures
- Demonstrate punctuality and commitment to scheduled shifts
- Uphold Chromalloy values and company policies

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical education in a relevant field preferred
- Hands-on experience with gas turbine engines (preferred)
- Familiarity with manufacturing principles and data systems
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (citizen or Green Card holder)
