Job Description:
Chubb Global Legal Operations is seeking a talented and experienced software developer to join our team as a Technical Developer. A successful candidate will combine technical expertise with the industrys best practices to develop applications and process changes for new and existing functionality. A successful candidate will demonstrate passion for technology collaboration and problem solving and will be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Provide support and maintenance for all Legal Operations applications.
Develop new solutions or enhancements to existing solutions.
Provide technical support to our user base.
Create and maintain integration between Legal applications and other Chubb systems.
Conduct testing and reviewing to validate solutions for functionality and efficiency.
Maintain good documentation for all support processes and throughout the development and implementation phases.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience with application development preferred.
Ability to program in a modern programming language (e.g. Python JavaScript C# etc.).
Demonstrated ability to build solutions with a focus on performance reusability and maintenance.
Strong technical writing capabilities including the ability to produce documentation on changes which clearly explain design decisions.
Strong organizational skills proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Problem solving mindset including delivering creative solutions to complex challenges.
Experience with Onit or other workflow platform preferred.
VBA or Liquid experience a plus.
Education/Experience
5 years of experience with application development preferred.

o We deliberately didnt specify the degree because we think that would limit the candidate pool. We are more interested in the appropriate technical skills and the candidates passion in this area.
o That said if I were to put an education it would have said bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
