Job Description

Title: Equipment Installation Engineer
Location: San Antonio TX (Onsite)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months (Strong possibility of extension)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Installation Engineer to support a major cGMP Pharmaceutical capital project in San Antonio TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in coordinating equipment delivery installation commissioning and qualification activities for laboratory equipment in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the storage installation start-up debugging commissioning and qualification of laboratory-related equipment.

  • Collaborate with vendors contractors and internal departments to ensure timely project execution.

  • Manage and coordinate required documentation including change controls commissioning/qualification protocols and lifecycle documents.

  • Steward equipment through the clients processes to ensure readiness for operational use.

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and project requirements.

  • Support validation activities as required.

  • Provide clear communication and documentation to multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in capital project equipment delivery within a cGMP Pharmaceutical or Biotech environment.

  • Strong background in equipment installation commissioning and qualification.

  • Experience handling laboratory equipment such as refrigerators parts washers autoclaves incubators etc.

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Validation experience (IQ/OQ/PQ) in pharmaceutical or biotech environments.

  • Familiarity with lifecycle documentation processes.

  • Strong coordination and vendor management skills.
