Job Description
- Lead end to end data migration from Oracle to Snowflake including:
- Schema translation (tables views indexes constraints)
- Data extraction transformation and loading(ETL/ELT)
- Business logic migration(PL/SQL to snowflake scripting)
- Analyze Oracle database structure and create compatible snowflake schema.
- Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using tools like SnowSQL Python DBT etc.
- Create and manage stages for data ingestion from on-premise or cloud storage (S3).
- Validate data integrity perform reconciliation and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Optimize performance in Snowflake by designing efficient warehouse usage.
- Implement logging monitoring and alerting for pipeline health and data quality.
- Document migration steps decisions and best practices.
