- Build strong connections within the health sector and drive continuous improvement within the Clinical School
- Full-time ongoing role based in Hobart
About the opportunity
The Team Leader Hobart Clinical School is responsible for managing a small team of professional staff to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of outcomes for years 3-5 of the Medicine Program both at a local level and in partnership with the other clinical schools across the State.
What youll do:
- Lead supervise and direct a team to deliver efficient and high-quality administrative services ensuring effective target setting performance management coaching and staff development.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships across the Hobart Clinical School the wider Tasmanian School of Medicine and relevant University stakeholders.
- Advise staff students and clinicians about relevant University and School policies processes and procedures.
- Manage key operational aspects of local program delivery including recruitment budget monitoring space infrastructure safety and compliance to meet program outcomes.
- Actively participate in working groups forums and other School of Medicine led activities that contribute to the successful deployment of the Medicine Program at a statewide level.

- Excellent oral and interpersonal skills and the ability to understand client needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to perform tasks with accuracy attention to detail and under minimum supervision.
- Competence in the use of a range of computer software applications including word-processing spreadsheet database presentation software and email.
- Ability to identify and implement improvements in work methods and the working environment.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116872 comprising base salary within the range of $92120 to $99891 plus 17% superannuation.
