Job Description
We are seeking Experienced Diesel Mechanics for our repair facility in Fayetteville OH to repair semi-trucks and trailers. Technicians should have a minimum of 3 years of experience repairing heavy-duty trucks trailers and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical hydraulic and electrical problems on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines including oil changes filter replacements and system diagnostics; replace and repair major internal engine components transmission repairs and rebuilds.
- Perform DOT annual inspections on medium/heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.
- Use computer diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Compensation:
$30 - $40/hourly
Shift: Days afternoons 8-10 hours daily
