Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (relevant work experience may substitute for a degree).
Demonstrated experience with Java is required.
Proficiency or familiarity with several of the following: Java/JEE Python C/C SQL SOAP WSDL WADL PERL PowerShell VBS Eclipse Postgres Oracle Jenkins on Windows platforms.
Experience in User Interface development database structures and/or working with XHTML HTML XML XSLT.
Hands-on experience developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
Independent thinker capable of producing high-quality work both individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with application servers (Tomcat WebLogic JBoss) and scripting.
Background in requirements management including decomposition secure systems engineering trade-off analysis interface control and continuous integration testing.
Software development experience in Agile teams with practices such as Pair Programming Refactoring BDD and ATDD.
Proficiency with automated testing tools such as FITNesse Mockito Cucumber UFT and Selenium.
Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test Driven Development (TDD).
Knowledge of Secure Software Development practices (e.g. Layer 7 Policy).
Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology; SAFe Agilist Certification is a plus.
