Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity
We are seeking a Professional Teaching Fellow to join Te Kupenga Hauora Mori contributing to the delivery and development of high-quality teaching learning and assessment with a strong focus on te reo Mori and te ao this role you will support students across health professional programmes to engage with Mori language culture and knowledge systems ensuring graduates are better equipped to work effectively with Mori communities.
You will play an active part in the review planning and development of curricula and resources embedding te reo and tikanga Mori across teaching and learning activities. This will include preparing and delivering lectures tutorials and assessments; designing and revising learning materials; and incorporating innovative approaches to ensure relevance and impact.
Beyond your own teaching you will provide mentorship and support to other staff within TKHM particularly in strengthening te reo and te ao Mori capability across the department. You will also participate in curriculum committees Boards of Studies and teaching meetings contributing to strategic planning and the continuous improvement of our programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Universitys commitment to Mori health advancement equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi while helping to build Mori health workforce capacity through education.
This is a part time Fixed Term 16 hours per week (0.4FTE) position.
