Job Description
Our mission is to foster an enriching environment within the Department of Nursing and Midwifery at the University where we can develop manage and monitor impactful programs and initiatives that enhance the learning experience. Reporting directly to the Head of Department the Tutorial Fellow will play a crucial part in achieving our departments goals contributing meaningfully to the Universitys mission and vision. We are eager to welcome someone with passion and dedication to make a positive difference in our educational environment!.
This role is vibrant and multifaceted involving:-
- teaching and training in the area of Medical Surgical Nursing
- Curriculum Development and Review
- driving research initiatives forward
- exciting challenge of fundraising and sharing knowledge through publication
- supervising and coordinating departmental activities all while ensuring we meet quality assurance and accreditation standards.
Qualifications :
- Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Valid practice license required
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and 2 years in clinical practice
- Proven experience in curriculum development evaluation and fostering a virtual learning environment
