Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to steer the entire learning ecosystem for our organization spanning locations in the UK India Europe US & China. This role is pivotal to building our global L&D framework from the ground up ensuring that our employees are equipped with the skills knowledge and competencies required to thrive in a rapidly evolving IT services and consulting landscape. Based in Bangalore our ideal candidate will possess at least 6 years of hands-on experience in driving learning initiatives within IT Services and Consulting organizations and will demonstrate exceptional leadership project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Design & Implementation
Architect develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development framework for all global offices unifying standards and practices while allowing for regional customization.
Conduct needs analysis and gap assessments in collaboration with Business Leaders and HR Partners across UK India Europe US & China.
Establish clear learning pathways aligned with organizational objectives business goals and employee career aspirations.
Create robust governance mechanisms for the ongoing evaluation and refinement of the L&D framework.
Training Plans & Execution
Develop annual and quarterly training plans for diverse teams including technical functional leadership and soft skills programs.
Coordinate with departmental heads and local teams to ensure the successful rollout and compliance of training plans at all locations.
Monitor and track the execution of training plans leveraging digital tracking tools and analytics to ensure adherence and completion.
Proactively identify challenges in plan execution and work collaboratively to resolve them driving accountability and closure.
Content Creation & Curation
Drive the design and development of engaging and effective learning content utilizing inputs from internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Leverage external resources including open-source materials industry best practices and third-party content to enrich the learning experience.
Utilize learning platforms such as Udemy LinkedIn Learning and other relevant tools to curate deliver and track learning programs.
Maintain a dynamic content repository ensuring timely updates and relevance to current market and technological trends.
Learning Platform Management
Oversee the adoption and integration of digital learning platforms driving usage and engagement across all locations.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of learning delivery.
Establish protocols for the measurement of learning outcomes and impact through platform analytics.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders including senior leaders department heads HR teams and SMEs to align L&D initiatives with organizational priorities.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development at every level of the organization.
Engage with external training providers industry bodies and networks to bring the latest insights and opportunities to the organization.
Reporting & Analytics
Design and maintain accurate dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track training participation completion rates and business impact.
Present regular updates and insights to leadership highlighting achievements areas for improvement and future trends.
Utilize data-driven approaches to inform decision-making and strategic direction for L&D initiatives.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration Education or related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Learning & Development roles within IT Services and Consulting organizations with demonstrated success in leading large-scale initiatives.
Proven experience in designing and implementing global L&D frameworks and multi-location training strategies.
Expertise in digital learning platforms (e.g. Udemy LinkedIn Learning) and familiarity with the latest tools trends and technologies in the L&D space.
Strong project management analytical and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural geographically dispersed environment.
Prior experience in Bangalore preferred; willingness to travel internationally as needed
