We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our growing IT staffing firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities developing relationships with potential clients and helping match them with top IT talent. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and ensuring client satisfaction in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling networking email campaigns and social media.
Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
Understand client staffing needs and communicate them effectively to the recruiting team.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Create and present proposals and staffing solutions tailored to client requirements.
Negotiate contract terms and close deals.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure quality candidate delivery.
Act as a liaison between the client and the recruitment team to ensure service excellence.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
Market & Industry Knowledge:
Stay updated with industry trends market conditions and competitor activities.
Provide insights to the team on emerging technologies and staffing needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
0 3 years of sales or business development experience in IT staffing or a similar service-based industry.
Strong understanding of IT roles and technologies (e.g. software development cybersecurity cloud computing).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated goal-oriented and able to work independently.
Preferred:
Experience working with VMS/MSP clients.
Familiarity with U.S. staffing (for firms operating in the U.S. market).
Knowledge of recruitment lifecycle and common sourcing tools (LinkedIn job boards etc.).
