Role Responsibilities:
- Experience in Java Javascript HTML CSS Python or C/C.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms Networking and Operating Systems.
- Experience with XML REST JSON. Understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
- Experience with Scrum Agile and iterative approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills: demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software /backend development roles
Responsibilities
- Expertise in one or more of telemetry pillars (Metrics / Logs / Traces).
- Experience working with Opentelemetry is highly desirable.
- Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages (Go / Java / Python)
- Demonstrated ability to work with global teams across time zones Excellent communication skills
- Design/code performant and scalable solutions to collect process store and analyze telemetry data.
- Drive day to day execution of product feature development. Actively seek/collect user feedback and iteratively add features to the platform with bias for action.
- Ensuring Engineering and Operational excellence of the Observability platform
- Works with PM on identifying and measuring business goals in product usage.
