We are hiring a Quality Manager for our Nursing Home in Co Westmeath.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist PICs in upholding strict compliance and care requirements.
- Put audits improvement plans and quality assurance mechanisms into action.
- Serve as an authority on updates to regulations governance and compliance.
- Perform house audits offer comments and supervise remedial measures.
- Examine and put into effect group policies and procedures.
- Teach PICs and employees best practices for clinical governance and compliance.
- Keep an eye on complaints risk registers incident reporting and safeguarding.
- Create reports on compliance and quality for the Board and Executive Team.
- Participate in initiatives for service excellence and strategic planning.
Requirements
- A registered nurse who is currently registered with the NMBI
- A postgraduate degree in clinical governance quality improvement or healthcare management
- Three to five years of experience in a capacity related to healthcare governance quality or compliance
- Strong familiarity with person-centered care frameworks and HIQA standards
- Proficiency in risk management auditing and compliance reporting
- Outstanding leadership mentoring and communication abilities
- Possession of a valid Irish drivers license and readiness to go
- Certification in risk management or auditing
