Quantitative Developer Multi-Strategy Trading Firm

Elevate Partners are working with a leading multi-strategy trading firm to recruit an experienced Quantitative Developer for their Dublin office. This is a unique opportuniaty to work at the intersection of technology and quantitative research developing the tools and infrastructure that drive trading strategies in a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain trading models data pipelines and research platforms in close collaboration with quantitative researchers and traders.
- Build high-performance low-latency applications and tools to support systematic and discretionary strategies.
Implement robust data ingestion transformation and storage solutions to handle large and complex market datasets.
- Partner with researchers to rapidly prototype models and translate them into production-ready code.
Optimise existing systems for performance scalability and reliability.
- Ensure compliance security and governance standards are embedded in all development practices.
Requirements
- 5 years experience as a Quantitative Developer Software Engineer or Data Engineer within trading asset management hedge funds or financial services.
- Strong programming expertise in Python or C# (knowledge of both highly desirable).
- Experience building systems for data analysis statistical modelling or algorithmic trading.
- Solid understanding of financial markets trading workflows and market data (tick intraday and historical).
- Proficiency with SQL and database technologies (relational and/or time-series).
- Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to work in a fast-paced high-stakes environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
