Job Description
The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by preparing and serving beverages to hotel guests and visitors in a professional efficient and courteous manner. The role requires strong product knowledge attention to detail and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring compliance with hotel standards
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner ensuring excellent service at all times
Prepare mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel recipes and guest preferences
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cocktail trends wine lists and beverage pairings
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area including glassware equipment and stock
Monitor guest behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with licensing laws
Support the Food & Beverage team with stock control ordering and inventory checks
Promote hotel facilities events and loyalty programs to enhance the guest experience
Handle guest complaints professionally escalating when necessary
Adhere to all health safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar F&B service role (preferably in a hotel or luxury environment).
Strong knowledge of mixology spirits wines and beers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented approach.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and a positive proactive attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
