Are you interested in combining auditing and assurance with technology into your future career Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you can challenge yourself and develop alongside your team We are looking for students who are finalizing their studies or who have already graduated to join our IT Data & Analytics team as a Trainee in Helsinki.
We would like you to start your full-time Trainee period in Autumn 2025 or Spring 2026 with a duration of 4 to 6 months depending on the role. Many of our Trainees have continued with us after the Trainee period or upon graduating.
What we have to offer
Are you an effective communicator and would like to develop your analytical skills in auditing and data analytics Would you like to work in a fast-paced international team environment As a Trainee you will have the opportunity to specialize in one of the two key paths and will in the future have the opportunity to contribute to the second path:
Data & Analytics (Starting Autumn 2025 6 months): In the Data & Analytics specialization program you will work with both our audit and audit analytics teams. You will be involved in the external audit of our key clients and will have the chance to perform data analytics and visualization using tools such as Alteryx SQL Power BI Tableau and bespoke Deloitte software. Daily activities will encompass observing interpreting data integrating new information theorizing brainstorming and making decisions based on multiple factors to deliver insights to the audit team and clients.
IT Audit (Starting Spring 2026 4 months): In the IT audit specialization program you will assist IT professionals in conducting various audits and IT risk assessments. Your responsibilities will include auditing IT systems as well as evaluating IT controls supporting business processes. You will also engage in data analyses using analytic tools gaining valuable experience in auditing information systems utilized in financial reporting.

a recent bachelors or masters degree or ongoing master studies (for example in finance technology information systems mathematics or accounting)
basic programming and/or database skills for problem-solving and producing analysis
working knowledge of Excel (including formulae such as SUM COUNT IF XLOOKUP FILTER MATCH).
a basic understanding of accounting concepts and frameworks
good analytical skills and collaboration skills
excellent communication skills in English both oral and written
Finnish language skill is an advantage
Additional prior experience working with programming languages and tools such as Python R SQL Alteryx Tableau or Power BI is considered as an advantage.
To be considered for this Trainee position a prerequisite is that you are currently allowed to work in Finland holding a valid residence permit if required.
