Job Description
As a Junior Financial Controller you will support our month-end closing and financial reporting processes ensuring accurate timely and compliant results. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in financial controlling while working closely with experienced colleagues across finance and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution and tracking of monthly closing procedures and internal reporting.
- Coordinate financial information between business units and accounting teams (internal and external) ensuring accuracy and compliance with local GAAP and internal controls.
- Support analysis of financial performance helping to identify discrepancies and contribute to process improvements.
- Contribute to the development and automation of tools (Excel SQL) for cost allocation management reporting and portfolio tracking (leasing and loans).
- Collaborate with accounting teams to improve financial postings and maintain clear documentation of processes.
- Prepare training materials and provide support to finance and business stakeholders in using reporting tools.
- Develop your knowledge of accounting and controlling standards through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- First experience through internships or working student roles in controlling finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables formulas) and basic SQL for data extraction.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive hands-on attitude.
- Eagerness to learn new systems and contribute to process improvements.
- Fluency in English.
