Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will work with the Practice and Quality Department reporting to the Director Professional Practice and the Director Quality and Patient Safety. This position works closely with and provides services to high-functioning cohesive and collaborative senior leaders. The role will support work that is central to Oslers Vision of patient-inspired care without boundaries.

Through this role the successful candidate will be exposed to confidential information including strategic and operational work across the portfolio as a valued and integral part of the team.

Accountabilities:

  • Interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Coordinating meetings; preparing and compiling of meeting materials including PowerPoint presentations and minute-taking
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Maintaining files
  • Managing a budget
  • Completing payroll and maintaining human resources files
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of five years recent experience in a senior administrative assistant position in a health care environment
  • Proficient in calendar management scheduling minute taking and document management required
  • Graduate of a secretarial/administrative assistant program is an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and Access; payroll required
  • Ability to manage a budget including reconciliation of credit card statements and management of department purchasing
  • Ability to manage payroll responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation for recruitment and onboarding of new team members
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong attention to detail organizational and time management skills required
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication (written verbal and English comprehension) and customer service skills


Additional Information :

Hours: Currently days eight hour shifts (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

SALARY

Minimum: $62029.50/yearly 

Maximum: $77532.00/yearly
