Job Description
Were looking for a passionate and talented Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef ready to step up take on leadership responsibilities and deliver exceptional dining experiences in the heart of the Hunter Valley.
What youll do:
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Lead and supervise sections of the kitchen during service
- Ensure high standards of food quality consistency and presentation
- Assist with stock control ordering and menu development
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with food safety standards
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to support team growth
Expected Hours: Full time 38 hours per week
Location: Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort - 15 Thompsons Rd Pokolbin NSW 2320
Salary: $75000-$80000 (excluding super)

Qualifications :
What were looking for:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar ready to step up
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for high-quality food
- Ability to lead a section and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Relevant trade qualifications in commercial cookery
