Job Description
We are looking for a part-time Valet Attendant who will assist the Front Desk of the hotel and be responsible welcoming guests carrying luggage parking and retrieval of guest cars escorting guests to their rooms explaining the facilities of the hotel providing tourism information and dining/entertainment recommendations to our guests.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles
- Managing pick up times for vehicles to ensure they are onsite for early departures
- Be the first point of contact and greet guests with a warm welcome every time
- Check the daily arrival list for VIPs or guests with special needs. timely manner.
- Guide guests to their room and assist with their luggage.
- Be present at the Concierge/Reception desk or in the lobby to be ready to assist guests colleagues and visitors when requested.
- Respond to guest requests and queries providing a knowledgeable efficient and helpful information service.
Qualifications :
- An energetic team-focused and can-do attitude
- Enthusiasm to connect with guests and to hear their story
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Be reliable well-groomed and have excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work across a 7-day roster - evenings mornings and weekends
- Must hold a current full Australian or International Drivers Licence. Manual licence viewed favourably. You must have the desire and ability to obtain your manual licence which will be supported by the hotel.
