- Hybrid (3 days/week in-office)
Position Summary / What Youll Do:
As a Civil Engineer II in Transportation you will support roadway and traffic design projects collaborate with senior engineers and project managers and help deliver effective solutions for municipal state and private clients.
Responsibilities / Day-to-Day:
- Develop roadway and traffic design plans using CAD and design software
- Conduct technical analyses reports and calculations to support design efforts
- Ensure compliance with PennDOT AASHTO and local design standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Support permitting bidding and construction phases with technical input
- Contribute to client presentations and proposal development
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 25 years of relevant transportation/roadway design experience
- EIT certification
- Proficiency with MicroStation OpenRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Familiarity with PennDOT standards and procedures
Preferred:
- PE license in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain within 12 years)
- Experience with traffic engineering studies and analyses
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
