Engineering Planners have key responsibilities for ensuring all aspects of the engineering plan are effectively planned to minimize on time delivery (OTD) risk. The engineering planner will also establish and maintain the demand and capacity planning for the engineering team.
As an Engineering Planner you will be responsible for:
Developing and taking ownership of the engineering schedules from project handover meeting through contract term including progress tables and detailed progress tracking.
Maintaining updating and monitoring of progress on the engineering plan including production of internal and external reports as necessary.
Supporting Program Manager during internal and external meetings to proactively drive schedule discussions & present material accordingly.
Implementing early warning identification of potential schedule issues and drive options to reduce Cost to Recover exposure
Identifying and communicating risk relating to all schedules produced.
Effectively balancing the engineering resource hours with the project scopes.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have experience in Project Planning and managing multiple projects.
Have experience with P6 Project Planning software.
Have good proficiency with Microsoft Office software particularly Excel.
Have sound oral and written communication skills.
Have sound interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
