Job Description
Overview
Responsibilities
Collaborates with pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals to provide support and assistance in medication management and patient care.
Trains and mentors pharmacy technicians ensuring ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Maintains accurate records and documentation of pharmacy operations including medication dispensing inventory management and patient information.
Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred: Associate degree in pharmacy technology or other degree
Preferred: Leadership experience and involvement in regulatory compliance activities or oversight
Advanced Certification (i.e. Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention Medication History Hazardous Drug Management etc.) in the area the technician supervises or Leadership program within 12 months of hire.
