Job Description
Laboratory management company is seeking to hire a medical laboratory scientist with experience in Chemistry and Hematology to join our laboratory services team. Laboratory operates state of the art instruments plus laboratory information system. Extensive instrument and LIS training are provided. Position is full-time Monday - Friday day shift hours. No holiday weekend or evening shift work required. Laboratory is located in Yuma AZ. Benefits included are Medical Dental and Vision plus life insurance policy.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Perform pre-analytic checks and instrument maintenance as necessary
- Identify troubleshoot document and resolve problems with instrumentation
- Perform quality control testing
- Verify and report results
- Follow safe laboratory practices-OSHA and standard operating procedures
- Provide customer support to laboratory clients in compliance with HIPPA
- Provide personnel training
- Instrument validation
Education and experience:
Bachelor of science in clinical/medical laboratory science with a minimum of two years of clinical laboratory experience.
