Job Description

Introduction

Your Impact:

As a Full Time 2IC Retail Assistant you will play a key role:

  • Deliver sales and store contribution budgets as set on a financial year basis
  • Develop a cohesive and effective team
  • Ensure all efforts are made to create a safe and welcoming environment for staff and customers
  • Ensure compliance to Good Sammy marketing branding POS and pricing policies
  • Manage stock donations and inventory to achieve best results for customers
  • Ensure donation access and availability is maintained at all times
  • Support and supervise Participants and volunteers
  • Provide training and development opportunities for all staff.


Description

What youll do:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the store alongside and in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Ensure employee work goals and training requirements are understood and serviced.
  • Support and supervise Participants in daily tasks and help to achieve their employment goals.
  • Manage fortnightly roster to enable maximum supported employment hours are achieved in line with company guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for increased sales and improved customer service
  • Ensure a safe accessible and healthy working culture is maintained at all times
  • Provide leadership support and training to all staff members
  • Proactively manage stock selection ordering frequency stock rotation sales promotions recruitment pricing merchandising Gold Seal selection local area marketing timesheets rostering store presentation waste management information technology recycling.
  • Monitor and motivate staff members to work as a team to achieve retail aims. Engage in performance improvement when appropriate and with assistance from Good Sammy People and Culture Team with full support and coaching by the Store Manager.
  • Ensure Good Sammys policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Contribute to the setting of daily budgets.
