Flying Star Transport currently has positions available for a Fleet Maintenance Technician in our Lubbock TX. Terminal location!
This role is full-time and hourly with the opportunity for steady thanks to the Big Beautiful Bill your overtime pay is now tax-free. That means more of what you earn stays yours.

What Youd Do:
- KEEP DRIVERS MOVING. Diagnosing & correcting equipment issues that keep our fleet at optimum productivity.
- CONTROL COSTS. Be innovative and proactive in your approach to repairs to help us control both time & material costs.
- BE NEAT CLEAN AND SAFE. Keep tools equipment shops and property clean organized and safe at all times.
What We Need:
- 1 year minimum requirement in the motor carrier maintenance industry
- Knowledge of class 8 trucks and trailers
- Strong mechanical electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Basic diagnostic skills for electrical as well as mechanical breakdowns (ADD)
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Basic computer skills are required
- Current CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred but not required.
- Experience with maintaining inventory and vehicle maintenance records preferred
- A willingness to share in an on-call schedule for after-hours and weekends.
