Responsible for issuing and inventory of associate uaniforms or other items relating to the Housekeeping department.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and keep an inventory of uniforms.
- Assist with uniform issuance labeling repairs and alterations.
- Inspect all uniforms/clothing prior to repairs.
- Assist with pressing guest items according to Select Guest standards.
- Assist with counting and tracking outgoing/incoming dry cleaning.
- Work with dry cleaning company to find missing dry-cleaning items.
- If possible repair clothing for guests.
- Responsible for repairing items such as drapes sheers bed skirts other linen etc.
- Knowledge of hotel facilities and events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.
- Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and the Omni Hotels & Resorts.
Qualifications
- Knowledge/skills needed to operate a sewing machine steam presser irons washing machines and dryers.
- Able to maintain a 4-Diamond level.
- Able to work with management on special projects.
- Maintain a professional business appearance attitude and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Move bend lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Requires repetitive motion of arms and hands.
