Description

  • Currently enrolled student at Mount St. Joseph University
  • Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
  • Ability to work on own initiative independently and to deadlines
  • Well organized punctual and reliable
  • The ability to communicate sensitively and tactfully both orally and in writing with individuals at all levels within the University
  • Team-player mentality
  • desire to serve/help in a nonprofit setting
  • willingness to learn
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel basic math skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to walk around the pantry and thrift stores.
    • Ability to bend/stoop to pick up items and hang/place them in designated locations.
    • Work with volunteers to upkeep the thrift store and food pantry as needed.
