Duration: 6 months possible extension Temp-to-hire
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production of turboexpanders. This role focuses on developing optimizing and maintaining manufacturing processes (machining welding balancing assembly) while driving cost reduction efficiency and quality improvement.
- Establish Bill of Operations (BOO) and determine cost/time-efficient production methods.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings (SolidWorks AutoCAD).
- Develop tooling fixtures SOPs and improvement strategies.
- Support continuous improvement cost reduction and process optimization.
- Collaborate with design engineers on manufacturability and quality.
- Ensure equipment maintenance safe operations and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers/technicians and provide cross-functional support.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (or related).
- 2-5 years in manufacturing engineering.
- Proficient in SAP Google Workspace SolidWorks (or other 3D CAD).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) AWS ASME section IX.
- Familiarity with machining grinding assembly and balancing processes.
- CNC experience preferred.
