Summary: Craig Technologies has an opening for a Financial Planner/Analyst at Merritt Island FL. The role is responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial and operational analysis to support informed decision-making across the organization. This position partners closely with business leaders to provide actionable insights through financial reporting data interpretation and performance analysis. This role assists in the budgeting and forecasting cycles by contributing financial insights and supporting the planning process. This role reports to the Controller and primarily the CEO.
Detailed Description:
Assist in timely preparation of daily weekly monthly and quarterly reporting
Assist the Accounting team with tasks and in creation of presentations for executive leadership.
Assist the CEO and Controller with financials preparation and audits.
Track KPIs and prepare financial reports.
Understand and analyze business units monthly/quarterly financial results (versus forecast prior year budget) and clearly articulate themes and performance drivers; this includes driving efforts to understand root causes of variances and making recommendations to enhance business performance.
Collaborate cross functionally as a business partner to drive continuous improvement in reporting forecasting budgeting and analysis processes.
Assist in internal control audits
Ad-hoc financial modeling financial analysis and special projects
Communicate project financial status and detailed variances to internal project managers.
Other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting business management or finance required.
MBA or advanced degree in related field preferred
U.S. Citizen
1-3 years of experience in corporate finance general accounting public accounting or business consulting
Working Conditions:
Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
40 hours per week
Salaried Exempt
o Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted
