You will join our Marketing department based in Amsterdam The Netherlands in the position of:
Intern e-commerce specializing in Advertising and/or Merchandising
About the Role:
Are you a business or marketing student looking for a challenge And do you want to work for cool brands like JBL Then read on because HARMAN is looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive e-commerce intern to join the e-commerce marketplaces team.
The indirect e-com team is involved in the whole of the process around working with global marketplaces like Amazon. With us you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with a team of experienced individuals who will guide you. At HARMAN no day is the same.
We offer a varied work environment full of energy in which you get the opportunity to grow and your role you will mainly focus on the European markets. The internship will last at least six months.
What You Will Do:
- Learning learning a lot.
- Support in creating compelling bespoke content for our marketplaces.
- Analyse A/B and optimize campaigns on ads or merchandising side.
- Help the team out with launching new products.
- Check and optimize the brands presence on marketplaces.
- Work on creative custom campaigns to elevate our brands.
- Overall support from the indirect e-comm team.
- Work hard and have a lot of fun at the same time!
The above activities are examples of activities that you may encounter in the sales department. You will also have the opportunity to work on one or more projects. This depends on your personal interest and the currently available projects.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- University Student (preferably at the end of Bachelor/Master) specialization: Sales/Marketing/Advertising/Business.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word Powerpoint.)
- Fluent in English.
- Strong communication skills and a real team player.
- You work in a structured and organized manner.
- You hold your own in a fast-paced work environment.
- You are pragmatic and result oriented.
- Knowledge of marketplaces and trends is a plus.
- Knowledge of and/or interest in electronics and audio is a plus.
- You are a hard worker and a go-getter.
- You like fun and a good working atmosphere.
