The new facility promotes collaboration with customers start-up companies and academic partners. It gathers researchers and workers from all around the world in order to promote a multicultural work environment and skills diversity. The Campus develops the latest thin film deposition and etching technologies for applications in electronics batteries and fuel cells as well as strategies and solutions for the entire supply chain production purification storage transportation and distribution of low carbon hydrogen.

Scholarship Options and Conditions:
1) Full Commitment Option:
Scholarship Amount : 80000 yen monthly
Period : Until graduation maximum two years (MSc) or three years (PhD)
Condition : After the scholarship is awarded you are expected to join Air Liquide Laboratories or another Air Liquide Group company upon graduation and agree to work for a minimum of 3 years.
Repayment Clause : If you do not fulfil the employment commitment you need to return the full scholarship amount within 3 years after graduation. If the Company could not find a position for you you do not have to return the full scholarship amount to Air Liquide.
If you are unable to repay the scholarship due to death or severe mental or physical disability that resulted in the inability to earn a consistent income (with medical evidence) you may stop paying all or part of the scholarship.
If a masters degree student goes to a doctoral program repayment will be deferred until PhD graduation.
You may withdraw from the scholarship program during the period of receipt if you that case you will be required to return the amount received within three years after graduation.
*Air Liquide allows application and reception of other governmental scholarships. However Air Liquide must be consulted before the candidate applies and receives another scholarship.
*You are required to come to the Company and give a presentation about your research activities at university every 6 months.
2) Non-binding Option:
Scholarship Amount: 30000 yen monthly
Period: until a decision on joining Air Liquide Group is made 10 months before your graduation at the latest.
Condition: The student is not required to commit to employment with Air Liquide group after graduation giving you flexibility in your career choices.
If you decide to join Air Liquide Group the full commitment option starts applying from the month after your employment contract is signed with a monthly award of 80000 yen.
Repayment Clause: No repayment obligation unless you breach specific conditions outlined in the scholarship agreement.

Other Benefits: opportunity to work as an internship in Innovation Campus Tokyo (if applicable)
Remittance Method : Monthly remittance to the bank account in the scholarship recipients name.
(B4 - D3)
Applicable candidates: Students in the last year bachelor or master or doctoral course (B4-D3) in the domains of organometallic/inorganic/organic chemistry thin film deposition processes surface science material science process engineering.
Eligible students : Master or doctoral course students in an University in Japan or Japanese students who study in oversea universities
