Calibration Engineer
Location: Stockport
Salary: 31000 - 35000
Hours: Monday to Friday Full-Time

About the Role
Syntech are looking for a number of Calibration Engineers to join a large TIC services business (Test Inspection & Calibration). This is a business with global reach and offers career progression & training.
Calibration Engineer duties:
As a Calibration Engineer you will:
- Perform dimensional and/or electrical calibration of measurement instruments to national and in-house standards
- Maintain calibration tools equipment and records to UKAS or equivalent standards
- Troubleshoot and support calibration systems and measurement environments
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and internal/external audits
- Work closely with a collaborative team of engineers and technicians
Calibration Engineer knowledge:
- Proven experience in dimensional calibration electrical calibration or both
- Knowledge of metrology measurement principles and traceability standards
- Ideally experience working in a UKAS-accredited environment
- Strong attention to detail methodical thinking and technical precision
- A practical team-focused mindset with a strong work ethic
