About CEI

The Role
CEIs Center for Economic Freedom seeks an entry-level Policy Analyst (03 years experience) with strong intellectual curiosity to support research and advocacy on monetary policy and financial regulation.
Responsibilities
Monitor major regulatory and policy developments in finance and monetary policy.
Produce analysis papers white papers op-eds and blog posts.
Engage colleagues and external partners to advance free-market financial reform.
Support advocacy through panels media interviews coalition meetings and events.
Draft and support regulatory comments and testimony.
Provide administrative support to the head of the Center for Economic Freedom.
Key Issue Areas
Monetary Policy: Track inflation money supply and Fed research; assess impacts on households and businesses.
Financial Regulation: Analyze the Feds regulatory role state banking oversight and sector issues including agricultural credit cryptocurrency and fintech.
Qualifications
Bachelors or masters degree (economics or finance preferred) with demonstrated critical thinking and subject interest.
Grounding in monetary economics central banking and regulatory economicsideally within Austrian or classical liberal traditions.
Exceptional writing and analytical skills; ability to deliver timely commentary on fast-moving developments.
Clear commitment to free-market principles and the legacy of thinkers like Hayek Friedman and Buchanan.
