The Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division is looking for a passionate creative and dedicated
Early Entry Program Educator(s) to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to
make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children during their formative years.
As an EEP Instructor you will take a leadership role in guiding a group of children through daily learning and
developmental activities. Youll collaborate with a team of caring educators to create a warm nurturing and
inclusive environment where children feel safe and supported.
Qualifications:
Minimum ECE Level 2 or 3 certification (or equivalent)
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an early learning setting or a licensed
childcare (minimum of 5 years recent experience is preferred)
Proven experience developing and carrying out learning activities for pre-school aged children
Experience planning for and leading a pre-school aged learning environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A collaborative mindset with a commitment to professional growth
Current First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)
A clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check (required)
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical emotional intellectual and social
development.
Foster a positive inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
EEP educators will be responsible for collaborating with the school team to develop and implement an
Individual Program Plan (IPP).
Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their childs progress.
Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care.
Consistently represent FMCSDs values and mission and comply with all FMCSD policies and procedures
The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
FMCSD will contact past and present employers for references. All FMCSD employees are expected to be
computer literate; this includes fluency with e-mail Internet and MS Office.
