STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Location: Remote Philippines
Working Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday Flexible (40 hours/week)
Salary: $1500$1800 USD/month

Job Overview
Were looking for a dependable Staff Accountant with strong QuickBooks Online experience and a solid background in full-cycle bookkeeping. This mid-level role focuses on data entry reconciliations and core accounting functions (not high-level analytics) making it ideal for candidates with 35 years of experience.
This role is client-facing so candidates must be able to review financials with clients answer questions and provide clear explanations of reports. The position offers flexibility the chance to work remotely and the opportunity to grow alongside a trusted senior accountant and a passionate leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping and data entry in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements
- Post journal entries and support fixed asset tracking
- Assist with cleanup projects and historical bookkeeping
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Maintain organized documentation and clear audit trails
- Use tools like Asana and Clockify for task and time tracking
- Review financial statements and reports with clients and answer client questions clearly
Requirements
- QuickBooks Online Certification (Required)
- 35 years of relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. accounting norms journal entries and reconciliations
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to clients
- Familiarity with Asana and Clockify (or similar tools)
- Strong internet connection and comfort working in a remote environment
