Laboratory Requisition Support Coordinator (m/f/d)

Position Summary:
The Laboratory Requisition Support Coordinator provides operational support to selected laboratories in Ludwigshafen by managing requisition requests supplier interactions and order processing. This role combines customer service procurement coordination and compliance with the ability to respond quickly to operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support requisition requests from designated laboratories in Ludwigshafen.

  • Acquire products primarily from prime laboratory suppliers using alternative suppliers only when necessary.

  • Process orders received through supplier punchouts in accordance with company procedures.

  • Obtain quotes for customers in collaboration with local Sales Representatives.

  • Maintain and support the business relationship between Fisher Scientific and the customer.

  • Ensure all communications are clear professional and aligned with customer expectations.

  • Assist customers with product rejections quality issues or discrepancies in purchased materials.

  • Proactively research backordered products and communicate updates promptly to customers.

  • Generate and deliver operational reports to the customer working closely with the Team Lead to meet performance goals.

Qualifications:

  • Technical education in chemistry biology or related field or equivalent laboratory experience

  • Experience in supplier management order processing or customer service in a laboratory or technical environment.

  • Familiarity with GMP/GSP standards and documentation practices is an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Team Lead and Sales Representatives.

  • Strong customer focus always maintaining a professional appearance and service-oriented approach.

  • Competence with purchasing systems and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

  • Flexibility to manage workload peaks and occasional requirements beyond normal business hours.

Work Environment

  • Office- and laboratory-supportbased role requiring both desk work (ordering documentation reporting) and active communication with customers and suppliers.

  • Requires PPE when entering laboratory zones.

  • Some physical activity may be required (handling product samples or documentation).
