The opportunity:
IFYS has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join Immediate Housing Response (IHR) program. The IHR program assists singles couples and families on the Sunshine Coast who are at imminent risk of or are experiencing homelessness through the provision of an immediate housing response. The Administration Assistant will undertake day-to-day administration tasks to support the IHR team.

Key objectives:
- Act as a first point of contact for stakeholders seeking support or accommodation or contacting the program via phone or electronic communications
- Assist the Coordinator with establishment of collection of client financial contributions and record keeping
- Assist in the management of relationships with accommodation providers follow-up client financial contributions and renewal of service agreements
- Complete timely and accurate administrative tasks as required including (but not limited to): data collection and entry records maintenance and filing
- Support the on-boarding process of new staff members in collaboration with the HR team
- Responsible for purchasing and ensuring accurate levels of stock and dealing with external suppliers
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in administration support or similar
- Intermediate skill level with the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word Excel and PowerPoint required
- Experience engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to work with initiative and autonomy
- Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful:
- Valid Queensland Drivers License with no restrictions and own reliable transport
- QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
- Licensed Care Service Suitability Check (LCS2)
- National Criminal History Check (a new check will be conducted through IFYS systems)
- Ability to provide two recent line manager references including your current employer
