The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst role provides an exciting opportunity to grasp the financial services industry. The analyst will use latest tools and technology to deliver insightful analytics to the senior team to aid decision-making. This role also provides a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the finance function through innovative thinking and providing recommendations on improvements of internal tools and finance processes. You will partner closely with business units to lead the annual planning process ensuring clear guidelines and well-defined workflows. You will also contribute to high-impact executive presentations bringing creativity and depth to financial storytelling.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

As a Senior Financial Analyst you will have a significant role in supporting important decisions by delivering insightful accurate and timely analysis to the senior leadership team. You will be recognized as a subject matter expert in key financial tools and systems serving as a go-to resource for troubleshooting operational improvements and training. You will be encouraged to consistently deliver ad hoc analysis demonstrating business insights and analytical capabilities and will also have the opportunity to work on cross enterprise initiatives.

  • A bachelors degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience
  • 5-6 years of financial reporting planning & analysis experience
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel/PowerPoint) and business intelligence tools (PowerBI)
  • A self-motivated teammate who brings energy enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity
  • Keen ability to envision the big picture while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Skilled in coordinating activities and navigating complex data in unpredictable scenarios
  • Strong problem-solver with the proactive ability to figure it out through curiosity and consistent determination
  • Consistent track record to simultaneously identify prioritize address issues and quickly respond to shifts in priorities
  • Proven success communicating with impact and clarity both in your written and verbal delivery including follow-up
