Role Highlights:

Rare opportunity to join a reputable internationally recognised business as part of the Customer Service Team. Report directly into the National Customer Service Manager with the ability to develop customer service skills.

Role Overview

The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for managing the sales pipeline from processing sales orders to interfacing with key stakeholders to manage their orders. This person will provide exceptional service to customers by responding effectively to customer requests and show a deep understanding of the customers needs. This role will report into the National Customer Service Manager frequently. Daily this position will carry out customer service activities such as call handling sales & service order entry communication with subcontractors and invoicing.

This role will contribute significantly to the organisations presence in Adelaide and Australia as a whole. It offers the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their Customer Service skills and progress to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain rapport with customers & internal departments.
  • Carry out daily customer service tasks including call handling sales & service order entry communication with stakeholders invoicing credits customer queries & escalations.
  • Identify and escalate issues appropriately acting as an advocate and intermediary for the customer and the delivery of product.
  • Use reporting tools to ensure accurate & timely delivery to our customers.
  • Work with customers regarding order status and scheduled planned delivery dates.
  • Work with accounts team ensuring customer compliance across the board.
  • Provides customers with informational materials such as sales brochures catalogs etc.
  • Follow process documentation when operating ensure compliance to company guidelines at all time.

Candidate Profile

You are a great communicator and have had experience in guiding customers and providing them an exceptional service experience. You are highly organised and able to interface with customers concisely. You are flexible in working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. A passion for continuous improvement and taking things to the next level is at the core of who you are. Your accountability and stakeholder engagement skills will ensure your success and heighten your leadership potential in the role.
