Are you passionate about embedded systems data management and working with cutting-edge technology in a global environmentJoin ourEmbedded Systems Engineeringteam atSKIDATAand support us in transferring and transforming critical commissioning data from legacy systems into modern cloud-based solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with real data improve automation processes and contribute to the digital transformation of our hardware development operations.
Thislong-term (1 year) part-time internshipis ideal for students in technical fields who are looking to gain experience in embedded systems software development and electronics within a dynamic international company.
What Youll Do
- Data transfer: Migrate commissioning and production data from our proprietary TEEbase database to the WATS cloud database.
- Program improvement: Enhance and adapt an existing C# application for automated data transfer.
- Data preparation: Modify and structure SQL-based data to ensure smooth migration and system compatibility.
- Progress reporting: Generate and present monthly reports on data transfer status and milestones.
Your profile
- Youre studyingElectronics Computer Engineering Embedded Systems or a related technical field.
- You haveexperience in C#andSQL and an interest in data systems and automation.
- You have a basic understanding ofelectronic componentsandcommissioning procedures.
- Youre a team player detail-oriented and enjoy working with both hardware and software elements.
- You arefluent in English and German both written and spoken.
