Job Description
The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Nursing is seeking a Paramedic toperform specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager.
Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule:40 hours per week day shift
Location:Stead Family Childrens Hospital (SFCH)
Rotations:no weekends every other holiday

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduation from high school and
- Current paramedic certification by the Iowa Department of Public Health Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and
- Current course completion card in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association and
- Current course completion card in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
