TE TRANGA I THE ROLE:
Were looking for a Content Planner on a six-month fixed term contract to join our team and provide additional support for an exciting opportunity. If youre someone who loves watching TV movies entertainment and media (not just quick snippets on TikTok!) this role will be right up your alley.
As a Content Planner youll be responsible for planning across multiple Sky owned and operated Entertainment channels. Using the information provided and in line with our content strategy youll create detailed plans for our offshore team to schedule linear channels and associated digital content across Sky channels and platforms.
Key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end scheduling execution manage content commercial and promo formats and on-demand schedules with precision using IBMS.
- Ensuring seamless content delivery accurate timely and fault-free scheduling even when incorporating last-minute changes.
- Strategically positioning content to align with broader content strategies and provide workflow improvement insights.
- Collaborating with internal teams and offshore partners to optimise scheduling efficiency and performance.
- Maintaining strong attention to detail and consistency across all outputs.

Were looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who thrives in a fast-paced media environment and who genuinely loves entertainment in all its forms.
ESSENTIAL
- Previous scheduling and/or television experience with an understanding of how the industry works.
- Experience working with an automated scheduling system.
- Strong knowledge of workflows related to the television environment.
- A working understanding of Broadcast Standards Authority regulations and implications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED
- Prior experience with IBMS.
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a related role within the broadcast/television industry.
- A passion for TV movies and entertainment content that goes beyond short-form viewing.
