About the Role

As a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology youll provide expert clinical services across both obstetrics and gynaecology while contributing to teaching training and research. Youll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary department that delivers high-quality patient-centred care and plays a vital role in supporting the local community.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing specialist O&G services across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Leading and collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Supporting and mentoring registrars junior doctors and medical students
• Actively participating in clinical audits quality improvement and research initiatives
• Contributing to professional education and continuous development within the department

Expressions of interest for Head of Unit will also be considered.

The Obstetrics & Gynaecology unit provides comprehensive maternity and womens health services for the region including antenatal intrapartum and postnatal care alongside a broad range of gynaecological services. About You

To be considered you will need:

• MBBS or equivalent plus FRANZCOG (or eligible)
• Demonstrated experience across both obstetrics and gynaecology
• Strong interest in teaching mentoring and quality improvement
• Commitment to collaborative patient-focused care
